Just a question:
Now I don't mean to be a buzzkill or anything, but how can you know that Sanders will enforce his policies? He could be your typical politician for all we know; Big promises, all talk.

Re: Bernie Sanders- Does He Have A Chance?
He's never once been a 'typical' politician in his 40+ years serving at various levels of state and federal government. He doesn't have a Super PAC and doesn't take a dime from corporate donors. He'd stretch his constitutional ability to implement every one of his policies, but if the Senate and House remain tea party-infiltrated shit shows, nobody who wins is going to be able to get anything substantial done.
One thing that bums me out about Bernie is his doubling down on the drone program that has been such a stain on the Obama presidency. I know we can't put "boots on the ground" every time a conflict arises, but maybe don't murder children with robots either?

^^^
We know he's not a typical politician because he doesn't take bribes from corporations.
There are more reasons, but that's the most significant IMO.
I don't think that he has such a small chance of winning Iowa, seitan, based on the recent polls.
I'll check out the link and do some reasearch on the site later. Is it establishment leaning, in general?

Nate Silver and FiveThirtyEight have no political affiliation, they're just statistics wonks.

Worth noting that their models are continuously updated and Bernie has gained 13 points since I posted the link last night. Still a 32-point underdog, but at least he's trending in the right direction. Hopefully it means his supporters are firing on all cylinders today.

Re: Bernie Sanders- Does He Have A Chance?
It's a glib outlook shared my some people who use it to excuse the fact they're too unaffected to give a shit about the political process. But I've heard nobody say Bernie would, were he somehow miraculously elected, suddenly change face and go back on all the policies he's spent a lifetime fighting for.
Loads of people write him off because of the supposed 'extremity' of said policies, but there isn't a narrative I've seen that dares to portend it'd be 'business as usual' in a Sanders White House. That's why he has no chance. Hillary is a continuation of the same, and thus an acceptable puppet for the moneyed interests.

Re: Bernie Sanders- Does He Have A Chance?
In a matter of like fifteen minutes, I watched Bernie's percentage go from seven to three points down in the Iowa caucus.
The more voters, the more support for Sanders. Clinton relies on less people voting, and the direction we're going, it doesn't look too bright for her.
I predict Bernie will win.
Update- Two point difference now.
This entire time, Hillary's numbers have only gone down, and Bernie's have only gone up.
Feel the Bern! ;D
Update- One point difference!!!
Update- .2% difference... Jesus Christ!
He will win.
Update- Now it's .9%... but there are still 6% of votes left!
Update- Point two again... O_O
Wait, I hear he's in the lead by point two!!!
