Depressing "Argument"
I was looking through the comments on The Amazing Athiests response video (probably not the best idea ) and I came across this comment. The amount of likes is depressing and I was wondering the best way to respond to people like them? Obviously they're quite common yet make few good points. The insults would also make it difficult/unpleasant to counter their "argument".

There are undoubtably difrences between people, on few rare occasions dose this effect wether or not you can sustain yourself on a vegan diet. If you wish to state that some people cannot helthy go vegan I expect to see some evidence. Veganism is a social justice movement designed to minimise and abolish animal ownership and suffering. Catholics seem to only have an intrest in converting you to a cult supported by no evidence.

vegan: to exclude—as far as is practicable—all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for any purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of humans, animals and the environment.

Re: Depressing "Argument"
The concept that some people can't be vegan is pseudoscience, based on anecdotes of people who followed poor diets.

Actual science says otherwise.
Now, SOME people can follow a poor vegan diet and still manage to get along OK. Other people need to be slightly more aware of their nutritional intake.
People are different, but not so different that there is anybody for whom a properly planned vegan diet would not be adequate.
Most failed vegans are junkfood vegans, anorexics, and raw foodists.

Re: Depressing "Argument"
The only way not to be able to live on a vegan diet is to magically be allergic to atleast 80% of the food we consume on a daily basis.
Many people do not realize that they already eat vegan food when they eat meat. Nuts, beans, soy, wheat all of these are ingredients and products that meat eaters have always eaten.

Re: Depressing "Argument"
its surprising how often I get comments in a similar vain: "i tried going vegan/vegetarian but I felt weak and sick and had to go back to eating meat/dairy/eggs".
