New Forum Game - Break a Curse

Post by Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz »

I am not sure if this will be a successful game, but here it goes.

Similar to break a wish, you get a curse an have to make it actually benefit you. Once you have done this, you make your own curse.

I'll start:

I curse you to always fart really loudly when meeting somebody new.

I like this idea, it puts a positive spin in things! :)

You always fart really loudly when meeting somebody knew, but one day you get arrested and imprisoned, and this becomes a good thing!

I curse you to be banished to Siberia.

How does it become a good thing?

I would think something like, you go to work for the CIA and use your "new person detection" powers as a security guard at a top secret facility, so nobody you haven't met could possibly get by. No need to memorize thousands of faces, your magical fart will go off for anybody new.
You make millions a year with your new person detecting anus.

The banishment is a form of teleportation. You work with the Russian government to declare different places Siberia, at which point you are instantly teleported there. With the Russian space agency, you visit plants across the universe and collect valuable scientific knowledge. All of the places you visit technically called Siberia while you're there.

I think EquALLity has it all wrong. The curse is on you, and you have to find ways to make it benefit you or negated somehow.

Every time I touch something, as it dies, my narcissism and sociopath levels increase by several magnitude, so I never feel regret for all the death and destruction I am causing.

Everyday you are subjected to the thumb crusher and putting your face in blue fire for 300 seconds (your wounds heal after 12 hours, but the torture still hurts each time).

Well, I'm assuming prison violence is really common, so it would keep potentially violent prisoners away from you. I mean, the getting arrested part isn't very good in the first place though... let's just assume that was inevitable. :D
The CIA idea is pretty good too.

Oh whoops... but, same difference really.

The thumb crusher gives me toe thumbs, and then I'm able to use my hands in soccer, giving me a huge advantage. :D As for the blue fire, erm... it keeps me warm in Siberia?? The actual Siberia, not the ones on different planets throughout the universe.

You forgot to curse me.

Now I don't have to do as much thinking and typing, so it's a good thing!

My curse:
This ;) is now your face.

There is a documentary about me because of my unusual face and I become very famous. I use my platform to incite the Juche socialist revolution worldwide.

Here is your curse: You will never be able to listen to music you like, watch a film or tv show you like, or read a book you like EVER AGAIN.

Since I am not able to enjoy any media I must create my own. In doing so I create some of the best in history, and I become very super famous with billions and billions of dollars and obtain happiness through my various charities.

The remaining 2% is the pleasure receptors so I now just lie there in constant bliss until my death.
