Re: What are you listening to?
You're welcome! Glad you liked them. I'm re-listening to Endurant right now, because it's been stuck in my head. As much as I like it though, I'm a little bothered by the unrealistic CPR scene:
The medic uses a defibrillator, which can restart a man's heart, but it doesn't. Instead, he follows up the electric shock with some chest compressions, which cannot restart a heart, but they do.
Chest compressions force the victim's heart to pump blood, and so they act as a sort of temporary substitute for the heart's own pumping ability. Unfortunately, as soon as a medic stops compressions, blood-pumping will cease as well. Only an electric shock can get it working on its own again.
Anyways, a minor quibble on my part.
I recently discovered another nice music video (impressive that the musicians are 3 high school boys). Kai Tangata, by Alien Weaponry:

I'll be damned if the Maori language is not the most "metal" in the world!

Listening a lot to a metal band I just discovered: Parkway Drive. Most intense stuff I've listened to in a long while.. it feels like it doubles my testosterone . Hoping it lasts a while

Re: What are you listening to?
Just listening to this album right now. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PrVusQx1x7s
Maybe the heaviest stuff I've heard recently, though maybe not of all time, tbh what's heavy to me depends on my mood.
Also, cool to hear about a member of Parkway Drive being vegan. I'm not really a fan, but I think some of their stuff is alright, having heard a few songs via that music community site plug.dj

Does anyone here have SiriusXM? I've been listening to Symphony Hall on my Alexa while I read, it's pretty soothing.
Knot, you might like Octane or Ozzy's Boneyard from Sirius.

Re: What are you listening to?
This’ll sound very gen Z of me, but I’ve been listening mainly to rap and r&b music.

I’ve realized that most of my preferred songs hover at around 119 bpm, which is considered a mid-slower tempo for the genre. It's slow enough to keep me calm and allow me to concentrate on work.
