Vegan message board for support on vegan related issues and questions.
Topics include philosophy, activism, effective altruism, plant-based nutrition, and diet advice/discussion whether high carb, low carb (eco atkins/vegan keto) or anything in between.
Meat eater vs. Vegan debate welcome, but please keep it within debate topics.

I don't think more than most people.

Most people, if you took a big steamy dump in a bowl in front of them, regardless of how well it was washed and sterilized they wouldn't want to eat out of it.
Just ask them about that.
Likewise if they saw some "food" that they don't eat served in it, like a boiled puppy's head or something.
For a lot of people that bowl would be going in the garbage and that would be it.

Meat is gross to you. It revolts you on a moral level and that's tied into our primal reaction of disgust somewhere in our hard-wiring. It's really hard to get around, and if it messes up your appetite then it is what it is.

I'd suggest trying not to think about it: because it's irrational, it's not wrong to block it out in the way it's wrong to block out a genuine moral concern.
