Thoughts on William Paley's Watchmaker analogy?

Paley's argument is basically that since the universe is so complex, it has to be designed. Well by that logic, the designer of the universe must be even more complex than the universe itself, so who designed the designer?

Ok, so you think we came from nothing then? Well if you really believe that, then how come life has any meaning to you whatsoever? If there's no God, then there's no reason to be moral either so you may as well just go around raping and murdering people.

Hume observed that even if these arguments prove the universe was designed, there is no evidence from it that it was designed by the Christian God, as Paley claims it was.

It is true. We were not designed by the God of Judaism, Christianity or Islam but by aliens who invented those religions to brainwash us. These aliens are called the anunnaki, and they pretended to be Gods so that they could control our fates and destinies. That is why they killed David Hume and also John F. Kennedy. They both knew too much, and so they had to die. I myself am taking a big risk in saying this.

Close but no cigar. The reason that evil exists is because aliens created it to torture us, and interbred with the humans to create a reptilian bloodline of genetic freaks, and that is where sociopaths come from.

His books are no more true than the false religions which they claim to have debunked because he is teaching a false truth in order to cover up the real truth. He is correct. The Bible teaches the false truth that God created man in his own image, but in reality, we look nothing like the aliens who created us. They all have three heads and twelve penises, however, they also have the ability to shapeshift. And that is how they managed to convince humans of the existence of Gods, angels, demons and miracles.
