Hey should we get an article on White Veganism down on the Wiki?
https://medium.com/@julianayaz/the-prob ... 6c0341e2a2
Please lemme know if this is satire btw. Our old friend the Animalist commented on the article:
I do not see how any form of rational and constructive conversation can come from such a terrible piece of writing. The author does not even explain what is meant by “white veganism”, it is grotesque.
Also, this is not about veganism or about animals, it is entirely about someone using it as an excuse to push their political agenda.

Yes, that would be good. Can you start one, maybe get input from @NonZeroSum? I'm swamped at the moment.
I didn't read the article you linked but I'm familiar with the issue and it's worth addressing. I wouldn't link that article in the wiki, just respond to what arguments you can find generally.

Re: PhilosophicalVegan Wiki Questions
I'm not too familiar with a lot of this social justice stuff, so I'm not quite sure how to refute certain arguments (not that they're right, but because the argument is so ridiculous it takes extra effort to debunk), but I can get started on an outline. I wasn't planning on linking the article, but I think it'll be useful to help outline some of the positions made by these people. I also might get some folks from Seitanism to help write it since they also have shared ridiculous stories about people making claims about white Veganism (I'll only invite the ones I trust, don't worry).brimstoneSalad wrote: ↑Mon Jul 20, 2020 1:07 pmYes, that would be good. I'll also consult NonZero if necessary about the Vaush video. I'm working on a video of my own at the moment, so I'll try to get to it by tonight.

Doesn't the wiki page LayVegan made on Intersectionality do the job? But yeah happy to offer advice either way.

We recorded part 2 tonight, if you're short on time I suggest watching that one. A lot of the same arguments are repeated anyway (Part 1 still has a lot of important info)
