Open Letter to Vaush + All Consumption Under Capitalism is Unethical Defence

Maybe just say in an alternate reality where Vaush is reasonable or something, and indicate hope that this could become this reality if he challenges himself more with these arguments.

The thing I'm worried about is I got good feedback to that effect on the original script, but if we weigh it down with more arguements people might click off the video. But at least this way you get the ideal version people can model their thinking on. Then the extra for people still unsure.

If it does look too conveluted though, I'd prefer to do it as a simple open letter essay as I've already made the kind of ideal mock debate video I wanted to do.

Edit: Actually fuck it, yeah all the formal arguements relate to what's in the ideal version script already, sorry @Red I bow out, you sparked my thinking when you said you might want to do a recording of the open letter, so I made a script of how I'd want to get the ideas across in a more conversational form, the formal arguments were just to show AY fanboys where the core disagreement lies, it wouldn't be interesting to anyone else and I've made the video I wanted already, you can do the same or develop it however you like.

I wanted to make it a surprise but cat's outta the bag. I still want to make a video for the channel, since I feel I obligated to do so. On the Wiki there's a list of potentials:

You fellers can choose which one, then we can work on scripting then I can whip something up. My editing and speaking have hopefully improved a little.

I'm working on a video for my own channel ATM, and it's gonna be my first video promoting veganism. I'm gonna post the script here so you guys can do some proof-reading.

I lost the enthusiasm to work on it any further, I imagined an ideal mock debate which satisfies my critique of how AY and Vaush engaged in the conversation. And I've created formal arguments which get at the core of the disagreement which satisfy my critique of AY's irrelevant formal argument. Maybe when I hear Fisch's upcoming video script, I'll have something more to think about and say.

If you still want to make the video you can take the video I already made, edit me out, put text on the screen or whatever and do your voice over. And if you need to show Vaush not talking on the right for longer all you do is split a section where he's not moving much, duplicate it twice and reverse the middle clip to create a loop, if you want a hand just let me know. We'll see what the brimstone says. There are lotsa topics we should do videos on that are long overdue; I might do the Vaush one, but if there's a better topic to cover we should do that. Although doing this video may help get us more attention, plus if I focus I can probably knock it out within a few days. You guys decide.
