Welcome to the community!
How did you find out about veganism?

Funnily enough, for me it was actually a meat-eater telling me I wasn't making sense by just being vegetarian, and that according to what I was saying I should be vegan to be consistent - something that at the time I hadn't even thought of.

I've known about vegetarianism ever since I was a child. I've never really been able to defend the practice of eating meat, but I felt that going vegetarian would be too hard. However, I attempted a vegetarian diet about a year ago and it was actually much easier than I thought it would be. During lockdown, I started watching a lot more videos that I usually wouldn't and a lot of vegan content. I decided I'd attempt veganism and I honestly don't know why I didn't attempt it sooner.

It's something I hadn't really thought about either. But it is definitely humorous that people who make an argument with the intention of pushing people towards one particular viewpoint can often end up pushing them towards the exact opposite one.

I'm happy you found the switch easy.
If you know what you're doing and you have enough determination, going cold turkey - or switching fast - is definitely doable.
Certain changes in lifestyle are often seen as a bigger obstacle than what they are because of other people's perception of them.

Are you having trouble with finding recipes and cooking at home, or no?
I guess that having been vegetarian beforehand helped in finding ways to replace calories from animal products already.

Either way, if you're struggling with anything - be it nutrition, recipes, or just handling social situations - or you're not sure about something, since you're pretty new to veganism, feel free to ask. We have lots of veterans here.
