Vegan for about 12 years, first inspired by Gary Francione so I missed most of the social engineering from PETA... I feel like cross audience exposure is our number one goal and believe politics is the best way to do that, include veganism with a package of political reform ideas and we may do better than taking our clothes off???

Are you still influenced by Francione, or have you come to disagree with his views?
I'm not sure if making a veganism is a political issue, since it's just going to create division (look at climate change), when we need to stress that veganism is something for EVERYONE, regardless of political leanings.

I definitely agree with the spirit of his arguments, there are a few things I don't agree with, for example I tried starting a discussion on the moral imperative of a 100% vegan grocery store and how it's sufficiently different than if you shop down the street at Safeway... He essentially gave this handwavey thing saying "all money is unclean" and then blocked me when I tried follow up questions... Idk why it's so hard to keep the conversation going, more like he's deliberately difficult and hostage to a statute of secrecy that I'm trying to smash as much as possible...
Not sure why you imagine politics will always degenerate into hostilities, just take a break and keep the debate going... Usually if that happens it's because they're some deepfake or silly person with pride who can't admit they're wrong... You can't change them but can't work with them either so it's not really a loss, more like the potential never existed anyways... Good news it only takes a few...
Curious if you have any activity on discord? I noticed the seitan discord but no link ... You should check out the main forum at discord.gg/vegan I've got maybe 15 posts there, voice chat is required for a lot of people in our species so having that as a 24/7 potential for advocacy is important right?
