Hi
Is it weird that I don't feel bad about eating meat but I know it's wrong so i don't eat it is that weird

No, not at all. The fact that you realize it's wrong and thus don't do it is more than enough.
Meat is designed not to actually look like dead animal, thus it is hard for your mind to make the connection between the meat and the animal. I have the exact same thing.

Totally not weird. Many of us just get to desensitized by the whole thing - out of sight, out of mind - that it becomes habit.
I wouldn't really feel bad about buying a blood diamond if I didn't think about it, and even then it's hard because it's so far removed -- but I wouldn't do it, because it's wrong and literally kills people half way around the world.
As long as we have enough conscience to do the right thing because it's right, and not do the wrong thing simply because we understand it's wrong, that's enough. Most vegans aren't really bleeding hearts.
