Processed food is almost always healthier and more nutritious than unprocessed raw food. The only question is HOW it was processed. The cast majority of food processing is more traditional still.codyedwardwilliams wrote:All processed foods are the unhealthiest food sold at stores.
Processing by sprouting, fermenting, cooking (at reasonably low temperatures), grinding, mixing with acids (like citric acid, lemon juice, etc.) can be great ways to improve the nutritional properties of a food.
Processing by adding a bunch of crap to make it bright colors, taste uncommonly rich, and last indefinitely on the shelf, not as much.
