Clicking any link to a forum topic logs me out

clicking any internal link posted in a thread to a forum topic is logging me out, because it's losing the session ID

For example:

philosophicalvegan.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=845&sid=0b675232294567891b9dbd11af467987

That won't log me out (if that session ID is still valid). But any posted link will, like:

http://theveganatheist.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=5&t=845

If you click that, you should see what I mean.
Something seems to be going wrong with the cookies.

This doesn't log me out. Maybe it has to do with jumping from https to http

Yes, that was it. It's http addresses without the session ID. Which basically means any link within the forum to itself (particularly older ones).

OK, I log in, and it directs me here:

https://www.theveganatheist.com/forum/index.php?

That has my session ID. That then seems to get dropped in https when I navigate.
If at any time I switch to http due to a link, it logs me out.

Http keeps the session ID. And if I lose it in http, I'm logged out.

If I go from http to https, I'm fine. At which time the session ID can be dropped.

I think I see what's going on here. Snobbish cookie, that's what it is.

OK, I think I can fix this with a word sensor, but that's a hack. We should see what we can do about fixing it without.
I don't know why http is actually logging me out, though (it seems like I should still be logged in if I switch back to https, but I'm not).

OK, it's fixed.

It's a hack, though. This should be fixed properly, but it's not urgent/annoying now.
