I like how the Croatian poet Zvonimir Balog wrote: Stulti semper sic statuuntur, quae non intellegunt, aspernantur et abutuntur.
To somebody who is unaware of the arguments for veganism, veganism seems idiotic. And the same goes for anarchism.

Cloppy, it's about PER CAPITA incidents, so population is not relevant. Police in the U.S. are more violent per capita, both per officer and relative to the population as far as I understand it. There's definitely a big issue with how to train and select officers.

Here's a quick fix:

Keep the few good cops and redistribute them (whistleblowers and those who pass a rigorous assessment with no violence of abuse complaints against them after a period of public commentary), and then put most of the rest of the cops in jail where they belong to replace all of the non-violent drug related prosecutions (and release those people), then restructure the education system and take all of the elementary school teachers (people who are at least on average more patient and better at deescalating situations) and make them cops without guns (because police don't need guns and most cops shouldn't have them), plus put most of the newly released prisoners in paid positions in community service/police and education (if they're good with kids), those with serious problems to go to rehab facilities and receive support in overcoming addiction and getting vocational training and psychological help.

Why wouldn't you be honest? Should we assume that you are being dishonest whenever you don't start a sentence with "honestly"?
Sorry for the confusion. I'm always honest I don't know why I even said that...
I think he's joking with you to give you a hard time. It is a silly expression though, often misused like "literally", makes much more sense when it comes after a sarcastic or joking statement/conversation which is where I think it was originally used.
