Here is our website showing our easy method for making your own tempeh
makethebesttempeh.org. We produced Betsy's Tempeh in Mich. for 9 1/2 years using a new patented process that our customers loved. We sold our tempeh in both patty and grated from. Recently we filed a patent for a tempeh incubator that could be used in restaurants and small shops making artisan tempeh for the local community. The name is TempehSure which you can google and get an idea when it will be available for sale. We will begin testing the prototype very soon.

When it it coming out? Any word on pricing?
How many pounds does it make a day?

I'd probably readily pay around $50 for the convenience and compact nature for a home appliance if it makes around 2-3 pounds- just for reference.

I'm a kitchen appliance whore
I like to DIY too, but that looks really shiny.

At more than $80 I'd be more inclined make my own.

But I totally support anything that makes veganism easier and brings it more into the affordable mainstream.

Surprisingly enough I was able to find some tempeh and I loved it(especially with TheVeganAtheist recipe for "bacon"). The "TempheSure" product is definitely something I'm going to buy when it comes out.
