I'm guessing you didn't feel it appropriate to ask him what the unique physical circumstances are? I'd be interested to know because I had someone comment on my blog that they couldn't be vegan because it caused her to develop a leaky gut.

When I probed just a little bit it turned out she had underlying issues which were much more likely to be the problem. But she was 100% convinced a plant based diet was not compatible with her body and she took great offence to me suggesting she wasn't doing it right.

He did say what it was, but it was a long time ago and I would hesitate to bring it up. It seems to me that it had to do with an issue with insulin from his pancreas.

I did search with relevant words in that medium for his conversation with me. But on this medium, I determined as I could not find that conversation it had been in the chat of a group we were in, which he had left, as all the communication from one who leaves a group is automatically gone when they go, there.
