That's definitely a good suggestion to implement. The difference between those two is often already blurry.

Science and Technology has been made into a new thread called Off-Topic Discussions Serious. I have moved out a lot of the non-serious content into the renamed "Off-Topic Discussion Fun". Serious topics that once were in the old Off-Topic Discussions, have been moved into the Serious forum.

What do you think about the 'Youtube Fan Suggestions / Requests & Forum Support' merge?

I thought about it, but they are fundamentally different. Youtube suggestions is for ideas and requests for my youtube videos, while the Support page is for the forum. I also didn't add any new forums, only repurposed/renamed ones we already had, so we don't have more forums then we did before the change.

Perhaps this has been proposed before, excuse me if it has, but some way of showing appreciation of a post without replying to it would be nice. An example of how this could be done:

On another forum I'm active on you just have a little thumbs up button with the prescription 'say thanks to the author of this post'. Everybody has a 'has thanked' and 'been thanked' counter and you can click on the number to see which posts he has thanked or been thanked for. I really like this system because it allows you to do what I said before, along with giving you an impression of what kind of posts are well received by your fellow forum members.
