One person may not be enough. The more you have, the stronger your case is.
There's no distinction between "party" and "meeting", and they know that. They're feigning ignorance to avoid culpability.

I would confront that guy who said he had a car crash. Tell him you know he went to the meeting or talked with the others in private, and that the teacher there told everybody what to say to keep him from getting in trouble.

I assume he's a Christian, ask him if he has any problem at all with all of the lies/ cover up.
If he is a Christian, mention that. It will make him feel guilty and be more likely to confess.

 I'm not THAT confrontational... Straight up accuse him of lying?
I mean...

Ugh, though, I seriously regret not going. >.< I could've easily stopped it from happening just by showing up. ergggggg

Oh, he admitted over text that quote "They kicked U out cuz u don't like trump". He was defending what they did and said it wasn't discrimination, because apparently the young repubs have some type of private club thing. BULLSHIT.

I'm going to email Mr. _____ and ask to meet with him tomorrow. I'll see what I can get him to admit while recording.

Save that text. It's weak evidence, but it's some. Screen shot, etc. and send it to your e-mail etc.

Meet with him in person and record him. Then back that up too. Talk about why you were really kicked out, because you disagree with them.
Maybe ask him if he thinks that's right, and why it's not an echo chamber.

Save all of that, and get it on camera too when you talk to him in person.

That could be dangerous.
If you really want, go ahead, but be sure to contact ACLU first.

And make sure to record the other student from the club first, the car crash one, on all of those details. And save all of that.

Talk to your frienemy again too, and record more from him.

Make sure you confirm they know that there's no difference between a "party" and a "meeting".

I don't understand. What exactly do you think I should say? :?

What's the difference whether or not I have it on video?
I'll try though.

Dangerous? What do you mean by dangerous, and why would it be dangerous?

I'll try. I have evidence already, though.

You need the same thing you got in the text messages on video, at least.

Ideally, get more. Confirm that he doesn't actually believe "parties" are different from "meetings", and that the reason they're trying to keep you out of the meetings is because you don't agree with them.

Not to avoid disruption, but to avoid civil discussion.

A text message can be denied, he could say you photoshopped it.

You may accidentally exculpate him. He could trick you into saying something or agreeing with something.

It's safe to assume he's recording the whole thing. He's not going to be easy to catch confessing something like a student. He's more familiar with law and liability.

He can't unsend the messages... Wait... WTF FACEBOOK?
Ok, apparently you can delete messages now. That you've ALREADY SENT. What on earth...

Wow, that's unbelievable.

The thing is, I don't really see him ever. I'm not in the same grade as him.
I'll message him and see if we can meet tomorrow (about something else he brought up).

I don't think he's that smart.

Hm... Maybe though...

Make sure you screen shot the message. Or even video capture you logging in and going to the message, then clicking on the sender to confirm it's the same person and not a clone account you made.

Even better if you can show another teacher who is on your side the message, and make sure the teacher knows this is confidential, and just in case he deletes it and they deny it.

It's best to be careful. That's why lawyers always want to be present and consulted on anything their clients say.

Amazing idea! I recorded myself on facebook scrolling through the messages and then clicking on his profile and briefly viewing the profile. Perfect. It doesn't matter if he deletes it now.

Ok, I won't have a meeting with him yet. I'll try to get as much evidence as possible first.

Maybe it was good that I didn't go. He could've tricked me into saying something.
Agh, sorry. I can't get over that part. It would've been so easy to go. >.<

School sent this out-
Dear _____ Parents and Guardians:
I wanted to take a moment to keep you informed regarding the 'post-election' activity at ________. First, I want to dispel rumors that have come to my attention posted on social media sites. There were absolutely no fights or acts of violence associated with the post-election reaction. In truth, we have had no complaints of 'election' related inappropriate exchanges of any kind this week. Complaints that were raised last Wednesday and Thursday have been thoroughly investigated and addressed with compassion and firmness by our teachers, deans, and Assistant Principals. We had the opportunity to engage students and parents in many conversations that proved as good learning lessons. I am pleased to report that I have been very proud of our _______ faculty, staff, and students this week. Classroom instruction and extra-curricular activities, along with normal wholesome student exchanges in the halls and after school went on without distraction from the 'outside.'
In an effort to engage students in a positive discussion about our school culture in light of both past and present concerns related to incivility [whether political or interpersonal], we did continue with a meeting of student leaders on Monday. We plan to continue that dialogue. Students have brought forward several ideas we would like to pursue in the future. Attached is an open letter from the "the Principal" I wrote to the students and was read by a student leader prior to the Wednesday Collaborative Lunch. Click on this link:
So... That's just not true.
There was at least one fight. Some asshole came to school with a flag and started yelling, "TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP" the day after the election and a fight broke out.

No election-related complaints this week... Really... ;)
Technically I made the complaint on Thursday, but we talked about it Monday, and my teacher also emailed them Monday. So wtf? o_O

Not sure if I ever posted this story- it's not really a fight, but I think it shows the Trump effect.
The day before the election, someone I know called over to this other guy. It went like this.
"Jo, who do you want to win?"
"What?"
"Who do you want to win?"
"What do you think? I don't want bitch to win."
"Really?" (me)
"I don't want immigrants coming in and killing people."

The Trump effect.
