Re: List of arguments for veganism and carnism
Great post!
Marginal cases is an argument against the fallacy of speciesism- it might be useful to clarify this.
In addition to the antibiotic argument, there's also an argument from zoophagic viruses. Large non-human animal populations in contact with each other and with humans provide a vast evolutionary festival for viruses. The next pandemic will probably arise from animal agriculture.
Viruses that can affect plants and humans, on the other hand, are about as elusive as Bigfoot- technically possible, but it's not clear that they've ever been observed.

One can't help but think this list was put together with a bias. A fair list would have rebuttals for both sides of the debate. However finding thems the hard part.
vegan: to exclude—as far as is practicable—all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for any purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of humans, animals and the environment.

I haven't really heard any proper rebuttals to those arguments. But that's why i welcome people to give additional arguments/rebuttals for both sides.bobo0100 wrote:One can't help but think this list was put together with a bias.
