Unnatural Vegan: Intersectional veganism

I suggest doing a video on the cancer that is intersectional veganism! I've seen many examples of big youtubers in the atheist/skeptic community (Sargon of Akkad, Thunderf00t, Undoomed, etc..) who dismiss veganism because they see radical feminists or black/white supremacists advocating for it. That is of course intellectually lazy on their part, but they're still broadcasting that message to their 200-500k subscribers (example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MCUnzrlVBM) and that seems very damaging.

I'm pretty sure we discussed that a while ago. But it can't hurt if UV does a video about it!

His work is great! 40 minute videos is kinda rough, though. Even if he doesn't waste a lot of time rambling, I think he'd reach more people if he shortened his videos a tad

It's unfortunate that he declined the invitation to discuss his videos here. We might have been able to promote him. We'd still be open to it, but we have to know he's open to criticism and changing his mind (he made a few mistakes in one video we discussed on the forum). If you're in contact with him please feel free to invite him again.
Also, welcome to the forum!
I also agree, Unnatural Vegan should totally do a video on this.

Thank you. I've been lurking the forum for a long while, and only now bothered to register. It is unlikely I'll post often, though.
Wasn't aware that Isaac refused to participate here. That's disappointing, although he seems like a busy fellow. Is "Anti-vegan arguments are weak" the one you had criticisms of? I just assume so, since that was his most popular video.

You should post an intro, if you're so inclined. Glad to have you join.

Yes, that was it. He has probably learned quite a bit in the past few months by debating, but he made a few errors in those videos you linked too, as well as in his response to Harmful Opinions (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWC1YUQclto&t=0s ). It's great to see a productive vegan youtuber pushing back against the regressive trend, though.
It's unfortunate that he wasn't willing. I don't know why.

Wow, great video on the topic by UV. Seems like the sh*t really hit the fan with this one.
I've been reading comments for an hour
"As a black lesbian woman.."
"As a sociologist.."
Most detractors seem to use arguments based on faulty or unspecified premises, usually relating to oppression and privilege.
Also people don't seem to understand how statistics work, or don't know the difference between equality before the law and equality of outcome.
I guess those are some of the things that would have to be trotted out in a potential follow-up video..
Another issue may be that SJWs do promote some understandable and good causes, like same sex marriage, though they mostly promote really bad, regressive ones, like de-policing, safe spaces and the use violence/threats to shut up opponents.
Some commenters seemed to think that UV was against EVERYTHING they ever did
Not sure it's worth it to keep poking the SJW bear, though...
At least the atheist/skeptic community can't pretend that there's a 100% overlap between vegans and SJWs now, and will have to take vegans more seriously

I suppose maybe these appeals to authority are supposed to improve the validity of their (often nonexistent) arguments against UV's points? Because without establishing something like what you mentioned in quotes, they're concerned that their arguments can't stand on their own merit and be taken seriously?
Commentators are insisting that UV is "ignorant", "priveleged", etc; all sorts of ad-hominems without much (or any) reasoned arguments about what was actually wrong with any of her claims. Insisting that this video is disappointing or ignorant, without actually addressing her claims point by point.
It's really depressing to see so much vitriol towards what was a very reasonable video, in which UV explained her views clearly. Anyways, after seeing it for myself, I can only say that I have mad respect for UV, and hope that she stays strong.

Where did all the unnatural vegan videos about intersectional veganism go?
I can't find them anymore??
