Limited Activity on Forum and Youtube - TheVeganAtheist

Post by TheVeganAtheist »

Hello members of the forum,
I felt the need to let you in on the reasons for my somewhat inactivity with the forum and creating as much youtube content of late. The last few months has been very busy for me outside of youtube and this forum as my wife and I are expecting our first child very soon, and I have been juggling finishing renovating our house and working my day job, so when I have managed to get onto the forum or creating videos, its come at a cost of energy. With the arrival of our little one soon (and the finishing up of the reno (not all done yet)) I plan to work much more closely with the forum members and perhaps work on community video projects (if anyone is interested). The last few months, and I imagine the first few months to come are going to be equally tiring, but I hope you continue to make this forum an awesome place to share and dialogue.

Congratulations! Your child will be very lucky, growing up both as a vegan and free from religious influence.

Awesome! Congratulations! I want to offer you, your wife and of course your future child the best wishes for the future.

Another vegan from birth on, amazing. :D

TheVeganAtheist is married with a non-fundamentalist religious woman.

Do you have any idea how you're going to deal with that conflict, TheVeganAtheist?

Congratulations! I have no doubt you will be an amazing father. I would love to help out with community video projects.

Thanks for all your kind words. My wife and I decided that we would educate him on the world religions, and he would go through the sacraments more out of tradition rather then out of some sense of belief. She agrees that its important to teach our son how to think, not what to think.

Awesome. Daniel Dennett's approach to educating children about religion instead of what to believe (well, Dennett argued for it in the context of schools, but still). I really see a future in that approach.

So it's a boy, great! (not that a girl wouldn't be great ;))
