simple vegi meals

Post by dwindley »

i am a very recent convert to vegetarianism. i would of gone vegan but i feel this is to big of a step right now in my life.

i will be reading up on simple meals and how to get the best nutrition myself.
but it would be great if any of you lovely guys and girls would recommend me a few simple meals. or ingredients to cover my nutritional needs.

thanks.
If i knew anything.
Time and space would merge.
Into a fabulous cake!

I'm not very familiar with what's in your area, but the best thing you can learn to prepare is beans. High in protein and fiber, low fat, and very versatile and cheap pretty much anywhere in the world. You can spice them in all sorts of ways, and blend them to make dips and spreads for sandwiches (like hummus). It all starts with the humble dry bean.
