New around here

Post by homeynomad »

Hi!

A little bit about myself:
I was born and raised in Spain and went to a French school there (where every teacher was French and every class was in French). I moved to the US for a year and then to the UK where I lived for 7 years. I am currently living in Germany (for 2 years now) and loving it. I share this just to point out that I have been influenced by a lot of languages and cultures and don't particularly consider myself from neither here nor there. Obviously, I am Spanish, based on my passport, but you know what I mean.
I was raised an atheist by a radical feminist single mother but I also spent a lot of time with my maternal grandparents that are catholic and very conservative. So, I was always open minded and ready to listen and debate respectfully.
I eat a mostly vegan diet but have eggs and some dairy here and there (specially if I eat out or someone cooks for me) so I call myself a vegetarian, obviously.

I am excited to join this community, I look forward to have meaningful exchanges with other users here.

Hi homeynomad, I'm guessing you had to resubmit the form due to our technical difficulties earlier. Sorry about that, I'm trying to get it fixed. I hope it hasn't been too slow for you.

Welcome to the forum, great intro!

Hello brimstoneSalad!
Thank you. Sorry for the double post. It was a bit clunky and hard to navigate as you mentioned but it all seems great now :)
