First of all, I apologise for any spelling or grammar mistakes, English is not my main language.
I'm a vegan and I'm here because I like to read discussions and discuss all kinds of food related issues in a non-hostile and rational way.
Normally I'm to scared to discuss topics related to veganism because I often feel like people judge me for not doing veganism "the right way" because I'm not folowing a HCLF, 80/10/10, raw food etc. diet or for not being a huge vegan activist.
I'm just a vegan junk food eating vegan who loves animals and doesnt judge other people for being vegetarian, vegan, meat eater or any other life style choice.
Although I would love to see more people adopting a vegan lifestyle, I also feel that what you eat is your own choice.

The complexity in that is it can have a lot of implications.

On one hand, it's a choice because it's not illegal or anything like that, and it's not helpful to shame people.

But on the other hand, all of our choices, from what we eat, to driving, to how we treat others, have effects on the world around us... and those effects can be more or less good or bad. While one bad choice doesn't make somebody a bad person, particularly if that person didn't know or didn't have a choice (like you have to drive to work, or you only have meat to eat where you live), I think it's important to encourage people to make better choices when they can. Good people want to do better and would prefer to be informed so they can make a choice that will harm others less.
