Wanted to join since this looks like a nice community & I also don't really like the vegan subreddit that much.

Yeah the subreddit can be pretty dogmatic and toxic in my experience (to be fair that applies to a lot of internet communities in general).

What inspired you to go vegam?

Welcome, I just joined yesterday. One of the reasons I joined was because I felt unsatisfied with the vegan subreddit. There's a lot of people pushing psuedoscience and conspiracy theories.

A thread about the worst threads(posts?) on the vegan subreddit might be interesting if you guys know of any particularly bad ones. Would be an insightful (and maybe funny if not sad) look into another side of the internet some of us aren't familiar with.
