Is Education as Activism Effective?

Some people say that education is the most effective form of activism, but I think how you educate the people is important; You might give a really good talk about veganism, but it won't mean much if people don't apply it.

Also, many people are bored by educational content, so you won't be able to reach those people.

I just want to know, since I want to do YouTube as a form of activism through educational content.
