2020 Election Thread

Post by Red »

OK so I'm gonna be bombarding this thread with election updates as the night goes on. I'll try to post about twice an hour at least.

Right now, Biden is leading in Florida and Georgia, with about 66% and 5% reporting respectively.

Biden has won the votes of Virginia and Vermont, and is also leading in New Hampshire. Trump has won West Virginia and Kentucky, and is leading in Indiana and South Carolina.

Both parties have won 1 seat in the senate so far (Dems won VA, Reps won WV).

Biden lost his lead in Georgia, and is currently leading Ohio.

Biden is maintaining his lead in Florida with 76% reporting, and pulled ahead in Georgia.

I'll update when the results from PA come out.

Not interesting who is in the lead. You need to look at how Biden is doing compared to Clinton in the battleground counties if you want a good indicator.

Good point. I'll see if I can find one from 2016.

Note that Trump won Florida by about 1.5% last election.

Ohio looking good in early vote count. An Ohio win would make up for a Florida loss.

Trump won Ohio by a pretty big margin last time, but we'll see what happens here.
