I love this. I think Bryan Adams had a similar demand during his last tour. I actually think it's shameful for a vegan artist not to make such a demand:

Morrisey: Go vegan or go hungry?
How to become vegan in 4.5 hours:
1.Watch Forks over Knives (Health)
2.Watch Cowspiracy (Environment)
3. Watch Earthlings (Ethics)
Congratulations, unless you are a complete idiot you are now a vegan.

Yikes, careful, that link has some malicious self playing video ads that will crash your browser without an ad block.
I agree, but here's one better:
Maybe require the vendors stay open, developing a vegan menu and serving mock meat items, rather than just letting half of them close down. I think that would be much more educational for everybody (the vendors who might keep some of the items, and the guests), rather than ending up with a bunch of crappy half-assed salads.
