Honey for Vegan

Post by nicolie80 »

Though there is a debate whether honey is considered to be vegan, it's not a secret that honey is a great natural product that offers many health benefits.

Unfortunately the commercial honey we see in the stores, has nothing to do with the real organic honey and its features (health benefits, taste, looks and etc.). For those of you who eat honey, I know a family which is producing raw natural unprocessed honey and promised to help them out, and get the word out. Check it out, I'm sure that once you try their honey, you will be hooked and will see the difference between real honey and the ones from the store - bit.ly/honey4vegan

Well, why does it matter if it is "natural"?

I like the message of this video on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJAwU4NMEXs

I second that! Are you an Adventist?
How to become vegan in 4.5 hours:
1.Watch Forks over Knives (Health)
2.Watch Cowspiracy (Environment)
3. Watch Earthlings (Ethics)
Congratulations, unless you are a complete idiot you are now a vegan.

Don't get too excited, I think this is a drive-by spammer. 90% sure it's spam, and I think this one has posted before.

If nicolie80 doesn't reply tomorrow to prove he or she is a human being, this thread will be deleted/moved to the blackhole.

As to the topic: Honey is unhealthy regardless of its source. It's mostly fructose, swimming in pathogens and allergens. The fact that parents are advised against feeding it to babies is a good indicator there. Eating it raw and unprocessed is probably even worse.

Honey is great for bees, but unnecessary for humans since we have superior sweeteners now, like sucrose, which are metabolically healthier.
