Bill Maher on the "ethical treatment of animals"

Post by Jebus »

Here is another disappointing and irrational viewpoint from an otherwise intelligent person:

How to become vegan in 4.5 hours:
1.Watch Forks over Knives (Health)
2.Watch Cowspiracy (Environment)
3. Watch Earthlings (Ethics)
Congratulations, unless you are a complete idiot you are now a vegan.

When exactly does the part about animal treatment start in the video?

He's also talked about it though

It's becoming a norm for them to agree on the issues, then continue doing the exact opposite, its the new strategy

That's it. He responds to the question about his PETA involvement.

I actually do like it when people are not talking about animal welfare or veganism very dogmatically or ideologically, but he did make some serious mistakes he shouldn't have made as a rational person.

His views have some obvious flaws, but he obviously recognizes that animal welfare is a major issue. He's someone that can probably be reasoned with. In my book, he's way ahead of most people.
